Fall Conference for
youth is scheduled for the

mass time starting in October. Mass will be at either 10:30 or
11:00 AM. Stay tuned.

Catechetical Sunday
will be September 16. If you are registering for CCD
(K-6) or Youth Program (7-12) please plan to attend mass for special
recognition in our catechesis commissioning service. On
September 16 Holy Family will join with parishes throughout our diocese
and the county to celebrate Catechetical Sunday. The theme of our
celebration is Catechesis:
Encountering the Living Christ. During Mass on September 16
we will recognize all those involved in handing on the faith to children,
youth, and adults in our parish. We will commission all catechists
present for their ministry.
Catechetical Sunday reminds each of us that in Baptism we are
charged with the responsibility of handing on and witnessing to the faith
in all we do. Our
catechetical programs help us to fulfill that responsibility by presenting
our faith in a systematic
way.
